WALT: Add Decimal Fractions and understand Place Value

We went on to google slide and we went on these links that take us to these shopping places and we had 100 dollars to spend and we had to work out how much money we had and also how much we spent.

REFLECTION: I had so much fun shopping I didn't really like working out how much money we had and spent.

WALT: We made a GIF on tall tweets

WE went onto google slides and started making it then we went onto tall tweets to turn it into a GIF and that's how you do it.

REFLECTION: It was so fun to do but challenging but I like challenging things I wish I could do more slides Because I had so many great Ideas.

Christmas Snow Globe Video

WALT: Create your own PNG image on Google slides and then also create a video clip using Green Screen.

We got to go onto Google Drawings and we drew around a Snow Globe and then after that we got to fill it in! It was so fun to fill it in and we did everything in Google Drawings and we didn't use any Internet stuff.

REFLECTION: I loved filling in everything and I also loved using the shapes but I didn't like tracing out the Snow Globe and stuff because I kept stuffing up so in the end I asked for help from my good friend.

E.O.T.C Beach Day

We went to the beach but first we had to pack things then we went in the morning and you got to choose if you wanted to shuttle or walk and I chose to walk, we went through Rangikapiti Pa and we then walked a trail to the beach, we had morning tea and started our rotations. The first rotation for my group was walking in a bit of Rangikapiti Pa and we had to remember 10 trees or plants I can't remember. The next rotation was Photography and we had lots of fun with that, The next rotation was Kayaking and Paddle boarding then after that was Beach cricket and I loved that day so much, we had to go back but first we had Kai LUNCH TIME. I got to go back in the van. SO FUN!

REFLECTION: It was so so fun also Kayaking and paddle boarding was my favourite and also beach cricket followed by everything but the thing that i didn't really like was walking uphill.

QUESTION: If you did this beach day what do you think you would have liked doing?

Country Study

WALT: Studying a certain country for the Rugby World Cup.

We got to choose a buddy and I chose Kathleen. We had a hat and we got to choose a country and we got Fiji. We got information and Pictures and chose a cool title but some people might not find it like that. Anyway this is what we came up with.

My Amazing Brochure about the Grand Canyon

WALT: Design a Brochure and and Summarise important facts.

We had to create a Brochure on Google slides. We had to gather and research information.

REFLECTION: We got information put a title and pictures because every Brochure has pictures and we also put it on our blogs so you could see it.


QUESTION: Have you ever made a Brochure?

My Holiday

WALT: We used remove.bg to change a photo to a PNG photo.

I had to write about my favourite bit of our holidays and I chose this. I also had to choose a background to suit my story, and had to do the picture. we would choose a picture and it would PNG it. MAGIC!

REFLECTION: It was really fun to do, I liked doing the picture and the writing and the thing that I wish I had done was another paragraph!
