WALT: Write a thank you letter following a formal letter structure

Tuatara and Kotuku which is my class and the other year 5 and 6 class wrote thank you letters to Jacinda Ardern and guess what, we got a response. How amazing is that! If you want to go read about it it is on the Mangonui School facebook page. Hope you enjoy my blog post.

REFLECTION: I had fun doing this blog post and I also had fun with adding it to my blog for all you amazing guys! One thing that I will change for my next blog post is to be more motivational. I was also so amazed we got a response!!!

My wow word

WALT: Find words in the dictionary and the thesaurus and write in complex sentences.

I had to go to my class site go to google drawings and I had to create my wow word explaining everything that you see here and I had to add it to my blog and I really hope you enjoy my blog post

REFLECTION: I loved writing everything down and I also really loved adding it to my blog, what I am going to do different on my blog post next time is probably to be more creative and just be myself in fact everyone should be themselves so please make sure you do.

Letter to Jacinda Ardern

WALT:  Write a formal thank you letter following the correct structure.use editing tools to Support the rechecking and re crafting of our writing. Write for a particular audience and purpose.

I had to go to my class site and I had to click on this link and again just like magic I am on this google doc and then I had to write this letter and then add it to my blog so all you guys can see it! Hope you like it.

REFLECTION: I had fun writing this letter and adding it to my blog and one thing I can focus on for next blog post is be more creative.
